Athletics
My final race this year, Athletic Ireland cross country championships uneven ages u11 to u19 took place on the 11Th of January 2011 at Charleville Estate Tullamore Co Offaly. With over 146 competitors talking to the starting line it wasn’t going to be easy over tough course and good running conditions. Aidan went into the lead after 300 metres and led the field out. On the day Aidan ran a great race to take the silver medal in the all Ireland 1500 metres . He also won a gold Munster team medal. Aidan has had a fantastic year at Athletics.
